Additives or implants are administered towards the end of your colonic depending on what implant you are doing. Additives can be added to help with the cleansing process or administer nutrients to the body faster. If you are struggling with constipation or this is the beginning of your health journey, aloe and/or a series of three colonics is recommended first before adding other implants. The first organ that should be addressed is the colon, then we can nurture the other organs of elimination.

Coffee:
As bizarre as putting coffee into your large intestine may sound, the practice of coffee enemas has existed for many years. Dr. Max Gerson (the author and creator of Gerson Therapy) used the detoxifying powers of coffee enemas to stimulate the liver to release toxic bile stores, thereby freeing up the once burdened liver, allowing it to focus on other jobs of detoxification. Doctors at the University of Minnesota showed that coffee enemas stimulate an enzyme system in the liver called glutathione S-transferase by 600-700% above normal activity levels. This enzyme reacts with free radicals in the blood stream (which cause cell damage) and renders them inert. Neutralized substances are then dissolved in the bile, and released through the bile flow from the liver and gallbladder, and are excreted through the intestinal tract (Gerson Therapy).
Chinese Medicine and Naturopathic medicine recognize the importance of optimal liver function as being a cornerstone in a holistic overview of total body health. Due to environmental pollutants in the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink, our livers have a full time job. That meal replacement bar with 25 ingredients, your deodorant, and prescription drugs are all compounding the workload of the liver. Add a Napa weekend, cocktails after work, and a toxic beauty regimen and your toxic load begins to mount. Now take into consideration that MOST people have a secret toxin they indulge in. For some people it’s a simple Diet Coke (fake sugar is a special brand of cancer causing yuck). For others it might be self-care products that your skin absorbs, entering your blood stream in 26 seconds, placing more work on the desk of your already over worked and underpaid (i.e. SUPPORTED) liver. Give your liver some extra support!

Wheatgrass:
We all understand the healthy benefits of juicing green foods, but who really wants to go through all that hassle? Juicing is time consuming and can be very costly, so why not lay back and leave it all to me?
Wheat grass benefits include:
- Restoring a proper ph balance by alkalizing dietary acids in the body
- Energizing
- Lowers blood pressure
- Reduces inflammation
- Enhances detoxification
Probiotics:
Our colons are home to 70% of our immune system and that immunity is made up of good and bad bacteria, or also known as gut flora. A strong immune system would have a dominance of healthy bacteria taking up 80% of the general population, with a small 20% of bad bacteria kept under control. Due to our overuse of antibiotics and excess of sugar and sweets, that delicate balance is easily reversed leading to a whole array of poor health conditions. Let’s give the good guys a fighting chance with a direct dose of all that is good!
Benefits of Probiotics:
- Helps with digestive problems such as gas, bloating and constipation
- Helps treat antibiotic-related diarrhea and IBS
- Helps to treat Candida and yeast infections

Goatmilk Soap w/Frankincense and Myrrh:
This goat milk enema soap contains frankincense and myrrh. These essential oils have been scientifically studied and are shown to be therapeutic to the prostate, as well as overall hormonal health in both men and women.
Goat milk contains high levels of butyric acid, which occurs naturally in the colon as an energy source for cells. It reinforces the colonic defense barrier by increasing production of mucins and antimicrobial peptides. Therefore, low levels of butyric acid can contribute to health problems like Crohn’s Disease and IBS.
Butyric acid is also anti-inflammatory. Studies have shown that butyrate can also reduce or prevent intestinal inflammation, a major risk factor for colorectal cancer.
Frankincense has comforting properties that help focus the mind and overcome stress and despair. Frankincense is considered a holy anointing oil in the Middle East, where it has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years. More recently, it has been used therapeutically in European and American hospitals and is the subject of substantial research.

Sesquiterpenes are a class of compounds that have a direct effect on the hypothalamus, pituitary, and amygdala, the seat of our emotions. Myrrh is referenced throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The Arabian people used it for wrinkled, chapped, and cracked skin.
